Applegate & Dillman Elder Law is growing! Our firm has increased staff and launched a new center focused on mediation.
Applegate & Dillman’s staff increased by more than 25 percent in the last year, with the hire of seven new employees in 2021. We also created three new positions. The most recent hires include Elder Care Coordinator Tammy Quillin and Associate Attorney Eliza Gordner.
Quillin serves as an advocate for Life Care Planning clients as they transition through the care continuum. As a Registered Nurse, trained in Critical Care, Tammy understands the clients’ financial, emotional and physical stress that often accompanies the aging process.
Attorney Eliza Gordner will lead the Guardianship and Probate team. Eliza also has a PhD in Public Administration – Law & Public Policy.
The law firm created and filled three new positions this year:
- Marketing Specialist: Kristin Cunningham
- Intake Specialist: Erika Godfrey
- Senior Attorney, Registered Mediator: Laurel Gilchrist
Other new hires include:
- Finance Team Associate: Skyler Fulkerson
- Administrative Assistant: Gretchen Crawford
These team members received promotions for their amazing work:
- Ruth Vonderheide: Planning and Transactions Team Lead
- Lyndsay Bilbrey: Benefits Team Lead
“As a firm, we used 2021 to grow, educate ourselves and adapt to the world as it is today,” Managing Attorney Lisa Dillman said. “We are proud to have served 455 families in 2021 and look forward to serving even more in 2022 and beyond.”
We also opened the Applegate & Dillman Elder Law Mediation Center in Zionsville in the fall. The center provides a safe space to address disagreements, brainstorm new and creative solutions and shape outcomes that consider everyone’s needs and align best for the elder. Mediation helps families avoid costly litigation and come to a peaceful resolution.
